The Ecostove Non Combustible Character Deep Beam combines the authentic appearance of a traditional oak timber beam with the fire-resistant performance of a high-density mineral composite. Part of the Cast range from Ecostove, this character beam features realistic knots, cracks, deep grain and distressed detailing, creating a natural rustic finish around a wood burning or multi-fuel stove.

Unlike a traditional timber fireplace beam, the Deep Beam is manufactured from a non-combustible mineral composite material that will not ignite when exposed to heat and flames. This allows the beam to be positioned closer to a stove than a conventional timber beam, subject to the appropriate installation clearances.

Each beam is moulded from real timber to reproduce the character and irregularities found in natural wood. The beams are then hand-finished using a water-based paint system, giving each one an individual appearance. Available in a choice of Pale Oak, Mid Oak, Dark Oak, Weathered Oak and Honey Oak, the beam can be matched to a wide range of fireplace and interior styles.

The Deep Beam has a substantial 140mm x 140mm (5½” x 5½”) profile, giving it a bold, traditional appearance that works particularly well above inglenook fireplaces, stove chambers and contemporary fireplace installations. Lengths are available from 36″ to 54″, depending on the required installation.

Easy-Fix Installation System

The Easy-Fix bracket is included as standard, making installation of the substantial beam considerably simpler. The heavy-duty bracket is supplied with the necessary plugs and screws and securely supports the beam against the wall. Once positioned, the beam is secured from underneath using an Allen key, while the fixing system also allows the beam to be removed more easily for future redecoration.
