Schiedel 6″ (150mm) Internal Diameter ICID Plus Bungalow Round Fire Stop – One Piece
Unventilated bungalow fire stop kits may only be used on a combustible ceiling within a bungalow installation. A minimum clearance of 50mm to combustible materials must be maintained where the chimney passes through the ceiling. The roof space above the ceiling must be open and ventilated. Within the roof space, a protective wire mesh framework must be installed around the chimney to ensure the required 50mm clearance to combustibles is maintained at all times.
The ICID Plus 150mm bungalow round fire stop is a one-piece, unventilated fire stop plate designed for installation on a combustible ceiling in suitable bungalow applications. It features a stainless steel finish for durability and a clean, professional appearance.
This fire stop is part of the ICID Plus twin wall flue system, which is engineered with advanced corrosion resistant construction. It includes a laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner and a stainless steel outer casing for long term reliability.
The system is insulated with 25mm of high density rockwool to help maintain flue gas temperature, improve efficiency, and reduce condensation. Components are joined using a twist lock bayonet jointing system and secured with a locking band. A rubber joint seal makes the system suitable for use with condensing and biomass appliances.
The ICID Plus twin wall insulated chimney system is designed for use with open and closed stoves operating at temperatures up to 450°C. The load bearing outer casing allows the inner liner to expand independently, accommodating thermal expansion at every joint and supporting safe, long term performance.
