Schiedel 6″ (150mm) Internal Diameter ICID Plus Appliance Connector
The ICID Plus 150mm Appliance Connector is a starting component designed to connect directly from an appliance or single wall flue pipe to the ICID Plus twin wall flue system. With an overall height of 100mm, it provides a secure and reliable transition point at the base of the installation. The plain stainless steel finish offers a clean appearance and long lasting durability.
This component forms part of the ICID Plus twin wall flue system, which is engineered with advanced corrosion resistant design and construction. It features a laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner combined with a stainless steel outer casing. The system is insulated with 25mm of high density rockwool to help maintain flue gas temperature, improve efficiency, and support consistent appliance performance.
ICID Plus components connect using a twist lock bayonet jointing system and are secured with a locking band to ensure a strong and stable installation. The inclusion of a rubber joint seal makes the system suitable for use with condensing and biomass appliances.
The ICID Plus twin wall insulated chimney system is suitable for use with open or closed stoves operating at temperatures up to 450°C. The outer casing is load bearing, allowing the inner liner to expand independently and accommodate thermal expansion at every joint within the system.
