Schiedel 5″ (125mm) Internal Diameter ICID Plus Ventilated Fire Stop Square
The ICID Plus 125mm Ventilated Fire Stop Square is a G50 ventilated fire stop and support plate designed for installations where a reduced clearance to combustibles is required. It allows the standard clearance of 60mm to be reduced to 50mm and is suitable for use both within floor spaces and within shafts, enclosures, or boxed-in areas, providing safe support and ventilation around the chimney.
The ICID Plus twin wall flue system is engineered with advanced corrosion resistant construction, featuring a laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner and a stainless steel outer casing for long-lasting durability. The system is insulated with 25mm of high-density rockwool to maintain flue gas temperature, improve efficiency, and reduce condensation.
Components connect securely using a twist lock bayonet jointing system and are fixed with a locking band. A rubber joint seal is included, making the system compatible with condensing and biomass appliances.
ICID Plus twin wall insulated chimney systems are suitable for open and closed stoves operating at temperatures up to 450°C. The load-bearing outer casing supports the structure while allowing the inner liner to expand independently, safely accommodating thermal expansion at every joint.
