The Portway Luxima Freestanding Gas Stove (also known as Luxima Gemma) is the most luxurious gas stove in Portway’s collection. Designed for stunning realism, its log fuel effect is set against a high-contrast black enamelled interior, creating a deep flame reflection. For those who prefer a more traditional stove appearance, a cream vermiculite interior is available, offering a look remarkably similar to Portway’s wood-burning stoves.

Operating the Luxima couldn’t be simpler, thanks to the fully automatic remote control. This allows you to set your desired comfort level using the thermostatic setting. Once adjusted, you can sit back and enjoy the luxury warmth without lifting a finger.

The Luxima gas stove delivers a generous heat output of up to 4.6kW with an efficiency rating of 76.6%. Constructed with a heavy-duty steel body and a cast iron door, it provides instant heat and excellent heat retention.

A linerless flue kit is available for chimneys that are integrally sound, in good condition, and do not exceed a maximum height of 10 metres for an external chimney or 12 metres for an internal chimney, in accordance with BS 5440-1. If the chimney exceeds this height and does not have an integral clay liner, a flexible liner must be installed along its entire length.

A closure plate trim kit is also available. The standard trim is designed to fit the full-size closure plate but can be cut to suit smaller installations. Closure plate trims come with a protective film, which should be removed before installation to ensure they remain protected during adjustment.
