Portway Arundel Freestanding Multifuel Stove
The Arundel has been designed with aesthetics, efficiency, and flexibility in mind. This robust, steel-bodied multifuel stove features a modern look with a large, clear viewing window that showcases plenty of lively flames. Suitable for most room settings, the Arundel offers a heat output of 5kW and an energy efficiency of 82.5%, making it both cost-effective and heat-efficient. The Arundel is also suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas, as recommended by DEFRA.
This stove is rated Energy Class A* and is compliant with the EU Clean Stove Standard. It is also fully approved by the HETAS Cleaner Choice scheme, meeting the most stringent emissions criteria and achieving a 50% improvement on particulates compared to currently recognised requirements within UK Smoke Control Areas.
Multifuel stoves have a built-in cast iron raised grate, allowing combustion air to flow directly underneath the fuel source, resulting in effective and efficient burning. This system enables easy removal of ash from beneath the grate using a removable ash pan.
To achieve the cleanest burn time with maximum efficiency it is recommend burning natural hardwood logs and manufactured, approved smokeless fuels. Portway multifuel stoves can also burn a wide range of other fuels, including anthracite, peat briquettes, and other mineral fuels.
