The La Nordica Sierra Wood Burning Cook Stove combines powerful home heating with the traditional appeal of a wood-fired cooker. Designed in Italy as part of La Nordica’s Prestige Line, the Sierra is much more than a conventional wood burner, offering a substantial cooking oven alongside a high-performance thermo-stove system capable of providing heat to your home’s central heating and hot water system.
With an impressive 15.4kW nominal heat output, including 10.2kW delivered to water, the Sierra is designed for larger properties and can heat spaces of up to approximately 442m³. Its efficient combustion system makes excellent use of your firewood, while the advanced design helps provide reliable heat for both the room and connected heating system.
The Sierra’s generous 51-litre oven makes it particularly versatile. With oven dimensions of approximately 333 × 363 × 430mm, there is plenty of room for roasting, baking and preparing family meals using the natural heat generated by the stove. A smooth cast iron cooking plate provides additional cooking versatility, allowing pans to be used directly on the top of the stove.
For heating systems, the Sierra incorporates a comprehensive range of hydraulic components, including a heating circuit serpentine, domestic hot water serpentine, electronic circulation pump and control system. The touch display provides convenient control and information, including system water temperature, domestic hot water temperature, pump management and water level for the bain-marie system.
The stove is built for durability, featuring an enamelled cast iron front, frame and doors, enamelled steel sides and a robust cast iron ring set. A direct external air intake is also included, while the dedicated technical compartment and accessible ash drawer make servicing and maintenance more straightforward.
