The La Nordica Larissa Automatic Combustion Wood Burning Stove combines the traditional appeal of a real wood fire with clever modern technology designed to make wood burning easier, cleaner and more efficient. Part of La Nordica’s Evolution Line, the Larissa features an intelligent automatic combustion air control system that continuously adjusts the air supply to optimise the stove’s performance throughout each stage of the burn.
With a 9.3kW nominal heat output and efficiency of up to 87%, the Larissa is capable of heating spaces of up to approximately 267m³. Its electronic combustion management system automatically adjusts the primary and secondary air supply during ignition, normal combustion and Eco mode, helping to improve efficiency while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
One of the Larissa’s biggest advantages is its ease of use. During ignition, the system increases the supply of primary air to help the fire establish quickly. During normal operation, it balances the combustion air to maintain efficient burning, while Eco mode reduces the air supply in a controlled way to help keep the embers hot for longer. La Nordica states that Eco mode can extend ember life by up to 50%, making it easier to reload the stove when required.
The Larissa also brings smart technology to wood heating, with integrated Wi-Fi and a radio remote control supplied as standard. Using the Total Control 3.0 app, you can monitor and adjust the stove remotely, giving you greater control over your heating from your smartphone.
The stove features switchable front ventilation, with four ventilation levels available through the Pro Air Setup system, including Off, Quiet, Regular and Boost. This allows you to choose between gentle, quiet heat distribution or faster circulation when you want to warm the room more quickly.
Visually, the Larissa combines a traditional stove aesthetic with contemporary detailing. Its front, door, top and base are made from enamelled cast iron, while the sides are finished in anthracite black painted steel. Inside, a durable Nordiker refractory firebox provides a wide view of the flames and is designed to withstand high operating temperatures.
The Larissa is also designed with everyday convenience in mind. An integrated LED button provides simple status information, while a reload alert indicates when the fire is nearing the end of its combustion cycle and it is time to add more wood. The stove can burn logs up to 330mm long and features both top and rear flue connection options.
