La Nordica Inserto 70 Wood Burning Insert Stove
The La Nordica Inserto 70 is a powerful and efficient ventilated wood burning insert stove, designed to transform an existing fireplace into a more effective source of controllable heat. Its traditional cast-iron construction, large ceramic-glass viewing window and integrated ventilation system make it a practical choice for upgrading an open fireplace while retaining the appeal of a real wood fire.
With a 6.7kW nominal heat output and 82% efficiency, the Inserto 70 H49.16 is capable of heating approximately 192m³, making it well suited to medium-sized living spaces. Its relatively low 495mm height also makes it particularly useful where fireplace opening height is limited.
The stove features a robust cast-iron structure and door, with a Nordiker-lined hearth designed to withstand high operating temperatures. Adjustable primary and secondary air controls provide greater control over combustion, while the post-combustion system helps reduce emissions and improve the efficiency of the burn.
Two integrated tangential fans provide front-room ventilation, helping circulate warm air from the insert into the room. The ventilation speed regulator is supplied as standard, while an optional ventilation kit and air connection rings allow the warm air to be ducted where required.
The Inserto 70 accepts logs up to 300mm in length and incorporates an extractable ash drawer for convenient cleaning. With a 160mm top flue outlet and dimensions of 695mm wide x 495mm high x 450mm deep, it offers a compact yet powerful solution for fireplace renovation and new inset stove installations.
