The La Nordica Gardenia Wood Burning Cook Stove combines the warmth and ambience of a traditional wood burner with the versatility of a dedicated cooking range. Beautifully made in Italy, the Gardenia is part of La Nordica’s Prestige Line and offers an impressive combination of heating performance, cooking capability and classic styling.
With a 9.5kW nominal heat output and an efficiency of up to 86%, the Gardenia can heat spaces of approximately 272m³, making it well suited to larger kitchens, living spaces and open-plan areas. Its advanced post-combustion system helps maximise the heat produced from each load of wood while reducing emissions.
At the heart of the Gardenia is a generous 55.2-litre enamelled steel cooking oven, providing plenty of room for baking, roasting and preparing family meals. The oven measures approximately 307 × 418 × 430mm and comes supplied with an enamelled oven tray and chrome-plated oven grill.
The top of the stove features a polished cast iron cooking plate and rings, allowing you to cook directly on the stove using pans and traditional cookware. This makes the Gardenia particularly versatile, whether you’re preparing a full meal in the oven, simmering something on the hotplate or simply enjoying the warmth generated by the wood fire.
Built for long-lasting performance, the Gardenia features an enamelled cast iron front, frame and doors, with a robust refractory-lined hearth and cast iron base. The stove also incorporates a glass cleaning system, helping to maintain a clear view of the flames, while adjustable combustion air and an external air intake provide greater control and installation flexibility. An extractable ash collection system makes everyday cleaning easier.
