La Nordica Dante Wood Burning Stove

La Nordica Dante Wood Burning Stove

The La Nordica Dante Wood Burning Stove brings together the visual appeal of a traditional open fireplace with the efficiency and controllability of a modern wood burning stove. With its impressive proportions, large glass door and lowered firebox, the Dante creates an exceptional view of the flames while delivering powerful, efficient heat for larger rooms and open-plan spaces.

With a substantial 12.4kW nominal heat output and 86% efficiency, the Dante is capable of heating spaces of up to approximately 356m³. Its advanced post-combustion system helps extract more heat from the wood while reducing emissions, making it an efficient choice when substantial heating performance is required.

The Dante features a robust steel insert structure with a cast iron door and grille, combining strength and durability with a clean, contemporary appearance. Inside, the Nordiker refractory hearth is designed to withstand high temperatures and support efficient combustion.

One of the most distinctive features is the lowered firebox, which places the flames at a particularly attractive viewing height and gives the stove more of the character of a traditional fireplace. The large glass door provides an expansive view of the fire, while the reversible door offers additional flexibility during installation.

The stove is designed for straightforward control, with adjustable primary and secondary air controls allowing you to regulate combustion and heat output. A direct external air intake is also provided, making the Dante suitable for modern, well-insulated homes.

For everyday convenience, the Dante includes an extractable ash drawer, while the generous firebox can accommodate logs up to 300mm in length. The standard model measures approximately 822mm wide × 1514mm high × 593mm deep and uses a 160mm flue outlet.
