La Nordica Inserto 60 Wood Burning Insert Stove
The La Nordica Inserto 60 is a compact and efficient wood burning insert stove, ideal for transforming an existing open fireplace into a more effective and controllable heating appliance. Designed to make use of the existing fireplace opening, it combines the traditional appeal of a real wood fire with modern combustion technology and integrated ventilation.
With a 6.5kW nominal heat output and 80% efficiency, the Inserto 60 can heat an area of up to approximately 186m³, making it well suited to living rooms and other medium-sized spaces. The compact dimensions of 595mm wide x 500mm high x 440mm deep allow it to fit neatly into a range of fireplace installations.
Built around a robust cast-iron structure and firebox, the Inserto 60 features a cast-iron door, ceramic glass and a vermiculite-lined firebox. Adjustable primary and secondary air controls allow the combustion to be managed effectively, while the post-combustion system helps achieve cleaner burning and lower emissions.
Two integrated tangential fans provide forced ventilation, helping to circulate warm air into the room. The ventilation speed can be adjusted using the standard regulator, while optional ducting components can be used where a more flexible warm-air distribution system is required.
The Inserto 60 also incorporates a convenient extractable ash drawer and can burn logs up to 300mm in length. With a 160mm flue outlet and a substantial 124kg cast-iron construction, it provides a practical and durable solution for upgrading an existing fireplace or creating a new inset wood-burning installation.
