Schiedel 5″ (125mm) Internal Diameter ICID Plus Insulated Locking Plug
The ICID Plus 125mm insulated locking plug is designed to fit flue lengths, wall supports, and bends within the ICID Plus twin wall flue system. It provides a secure closure where required and features a plain stainless steel finish to match the rest of the range.
This locking plug is part of the ICID Plus twin wall flue system, which is engineered with advanced corrosion resistant construction. It includes a laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner and a stainless steel outer casing for long term durability.
The system is insulated with 25mm of high density rockwool to help maintain flue gas temperature, improve efficiency, and reduce condensation. Components connect using a twist lock bayonet jointing system and are secured with a locking band. A rubber joint seal allows the system to be used with condensing and biomass appliances.
The ICID Plus twin wall insulated chimney system is suitable for use with open and closed stoves operating at temperatures up to 450°C. The load bearing outer casing allows the inner liner to expand independently, accommodating thermal expansion at every joint for reliable long term performance.
